Coming soon, the B737 iQRG App for iPad.  A Boeing 737 quick reference guide to help pilots recall information that is either used frequently or critical information that is used infrequently.

With the oncoming and use of the iPad and Tablet devices for flight operations, many and most companies utilize this to provide operational information, such as manual, flight plans, weather, performance etc.  Unfortunately, it is believed that it has become too much information.  If the pilot were to access an app for operational manual provided by their company and search, for example “Low visibility”, the search results would probably be a large return of information.  Albeit, having this information readily accessible in the flight deck is a great improvement over paper manuals, pilots need to be able to access critical information much quicker.

This is where the iQRG fills that gap.  It is designed to help pilots in time-critical situations to quickly access the information either on the ground or in flight.  The iQRG will also make a great tool for studying for the lovely simulator initial or recurrent checks.

Initially, the iQRG started off as a standard interactive PDF, which slowly turned into being accessible on the iPad using a PDF View or Apple iBooks©.  Over time the iQRG was shared with many colleagues and quickly became very popular.  Demand grew and the content of the iQRG grew with it.

There will be two versions of the iQRG to include EASA rules and FAA rules
